until the last few years. And especially this year. Especially RIGHT NOW. I’m excited about what is happening. I’m just excited to know that Bush won’t be the President any longer!
Personally, I was a Hillary supporter. If she ran again, I would still support her. I said years ago when she was the First Lady that she would be the first woman President. I still stand by my words.
I watched the DNC four years ago when Kerry ran. And I remember seeing Obama speaking at that convention. My husband said to me, “I wouldn’t be surprised if he ran in 2008.” Well, here he is…running for President.
Hill’s speech last night sent chills down my spine. She radiated political power. My fave line from her:
“It makes sense that George Bush and John McCain will be together next week in the Twin Cities,” Clinton said, referring to next week’s Republican National Convention in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota. “Because these days they’re awfully hard to tell apart.”
So true, Hill. So true.
I’m not sure I want a guy in office who has a ton of houses but can’t remember how many he has (yet there are thousands of Americans out there LOSING their homes). This is the same guy who left his first wife when she became disabled and married a BEER heiress.
Part of the President’s job is to help his fellow American citizens. McCain isn’t ready to help anyone but himself…
