Iraq five years later
Hard to believe it’s been five years since we invaded Iraq and we STILL have no clue why we’re there!
Okay, so we took down Hussein but then what? Really, what are we fighting for? Bragging rights? To see how many more military personnel can get killed? To kill off more civilians? To fight insurgents who will continue to terrorize whether we’re there or not? What is the point?
As I once read five years ago on a web site: The REAL war has begun….McDonald’s or Burger King….
I wish it were that simple!
