Regarding Tom Brady’s injury and numerous surgeries, I think if it is true that the Pats organization is upset with him for being treated on the west coast instead of under the direction of doctors of their choosing in Boston, they should (1) be glad he is being treated and that the infection was caught in time so his leg wouldn’t have to be amputated; and (2) be goddamn grateful for their 6th round 199th overall pick who has provided them with three Super Bowl wins over the past seven years.

18-0–OFF TO THE SUPER BOWL WE GO!
Whoohoo! The New England Patriots went on to defeat the San Diego Chargers today for their tickets to Arizona where they will take on “the other Manning” and the NY Giants. Of course, you probably already know this unless you’ve been living in a cave…
Anyway, what I’m looking forward to most of all, other than the game itself and hopefully a positive ending to this historic New England Patriots’ season, but the Super Bowl party/birthday party we’re going to be having! You see, ever since the NFL moved the date of the Super Bowl to the first weekend in February back in 2001, I’ve had the great opportunity to be able to celebrate my birthday either right on the day of the Super Bowl or right around the same time as the Super Bowl! This year is no exception.
Of course it’s more special because the Pats are in it.
So congrats to both the Pats and the Giants on their wins. On to Arizona!

THEY DID IT!
The New England Patriots have become the first team to go 16-0, undefeated, in the regular NFL season! It wasn’t easy, nor was it pretty, but they did it! Way to go, guys!
Giving credit to the Giants, they did bring their “A” game; however, it seems that any team that has brought their “A” game against the Patriots this year, has not been able to overcome the Patriots’ “B” game. And when the Pats do bring THEIR “A” game, that’s a blow out. It’s the team that wins by a marginal victory that is the BEST team.
This team just gets better and better with time. They never cease to amaze me. Just when you think they’re down for the count–BOOM! They’re back.
CONGRATULATIONS NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS! Here’s to a great playoff series and the Super Bowl!

The New England Patriots–will they do it?
You know something huge is going on when the government steps in. That’s what happened this week when many senators approached the NFL requesting that they broadcast the Patriots vs. Giants game on channels other than NFL Network. Only about 40% of households get NFL Network; therefore, a great majority of people would not be able to see this game. The NFL complied.
So, if you aren’t a football fan, too bad. Because all the major networks will be showing this game on Saturday night! It’s the next biggest thing to the Presidential address.
It’s been 35 years since an NFL team went undefeated. The Dolphins did it in 1972. But what nobody seems to think about is that the Patriots have already beat their record. The Dolphins went undefeated in a regular season in 1972, having played only 14 games. That’s how long the season was back then. The season is now 16 games. The Patriots have already won 15 games. Technically, that makes the record already broken.
I do believe these guys will do it. They are just a magical team. They make it happen. Opposing teams can issue “guarantees” or refer to Tom and the gang as “Jesus and the 12 Apostles” (but he only has 10 offensive linemen), but it doesn’t matter. These other teams will never learn. You piss off Tom Brady and you end up paying. Simple as that.
